Ladies 4ths positive despite defeat

The key difference between the teams was fitness.

Bradford were a strong drilled side who let the ball do the work. They had a number of talented players who put the Halifax defence under a great deal of pressure resulting in numerous short corners.

Zena Al Jawad was fearless when running out at short corners and ensured that Bradford were unable to capitalise on the number of corners awarded.

Jo Hardingham carried out some crucial tackles and Man of the match Sasha Pennyward made a number of awesome saves.

In attack the centre partnership of Leigh Hirst and Harriet Wood worked well together making a number of impressive breaks only to be thwarted by the Bradford defence.

Despite another defeat the team spirit remains high and a win is hopefully round the corner.
