Ladies 4ths buoyant despite defeat

Halifax started really well and looked the stronger team in the first 10minutes with Laura Neimantas moving the ball well in midfield and Jo Hardingham putting pressure on the Colne Valley defence.

However Colne Valley started to get the upperhand and began to dominate.

Halifax did show character with Amber Pennyward, Ang Wright and Lisa Scoltock sterling in defence.

Sasha Pennyward made some great saves and prevented the score from going into double figures.

Halifax did not give up and rallied in the last 10mins were unlucky to score so plenty of positives to take into the next match.

Man of the match was awarded to Leigh Hirst and Helen Chadwick Marshall.
