Halifax wanted to complete their unbeaten run of 20 games by beating Netherwood Bradford I at the weekend.
Most of the first half was played in the away sides half but Halifax were only able to score one goal, courtesy of Dani Parker.
Netherwood were not gaining any ground and did not have a shot on goal in the first half.
The second half was a different story. Halifax were slick with their passing, tight in defence and were finally putting their chances in the back of the net.
Goals came from Parker (2), Ruth Prosser (2), Rachel Hoyle and Margaret Bottomley.
Midfielder Adele Cocker shot at goal and the ball was saved on the line by a defenders foot. A penalty flick was awarded and Ruth Bury stepped up to convert.
Halifax ended their season with a flourish winning the game 8-0.
This sees Halifax win Yorkshire Division Three... 9 points clear of 2nd place, scoring 75 goals and only conceding 17.
This weekend see's them competing in the Yvonne Horner Shield Cup Final against Lincoln Roses I.
