Ladies 2nds continued their fantastic season with another away win, 3-1 against Horsforth, Waldron scoring a great hat-trick

Halifax II have continued their fantastic season with another away win against Horsforth I.
Halifax started the game with 10 players but this didn’t stop Claire Waldron getting Halifax’s first goal within the first 5 minutes of the game. There was some great passing from the away side and it wasn’t long before the midfield of Margaret Bottomley, Ruth Prosser, Adele Cocker and Ellen Campsall got the ball through to Waldron, allowing her to get her second goal of the game.
The home side managed to claw a goal back just before the half time whistle.
The second half saw Halifax squander some amazing chances and they should have put the game out of sight. However, Waldron managed to get the ball in the back of the net again to secure her hatrick and secure another 3 points for Halifax II, seeing them sitting comfortably at the top of Yorkshire Division 2
