Halifax got off to a poor start with the midfield struggling to gain possession and the defence failing to keep the ball out of the defensive D, conceding multiple short corners.
Tadcaster proceeded to score 3 goals within the first half of the match, overloading the Halifax defence with a strong attack.
Halifax fought back with some impressive runs up the right wing by Amy March and Leah Kalter, and a forceful advance by Sara Woodhead, Sarah Routledge and Ruth Bury in the midfield.
The standard of play improved dramatically in the second half for Halifax, holding off the Tadcaster side and battling hard in the attack, with Rebecca Brown scoring the goal of the match after a great set up from Amy March.
The game ended 3-1 to Tadcaster with Halifax hoping for a win at home next Saturday.
