Ladies 2s suffer defeat again

An unfortunate lose for Halifax again.

A very strong match from the Halifax defence, with the majority of the play in their half.

Brigg have a very strong team which they used all their power to get into the Halifax D, Beccy Fisk was on top form saving some difficult goals. Short corner after short corner Halifax defended excellent against them with Rebecca Murray running out and blocking Brigg from making a shot against goal. Cat Vose and Steph Hoyle defended very well, taking the pressure away from Fisk in goal.

April Hendy brought the play out of their own half by making some fantastic runs up the right wing which Sara Woodhead and Grace Ramsden were in the right place for Hendy to make on target shots to them away from Brigg's defence. Unfortunately as the play reached
Brigg's D, the defence were very strong and Halifax could not succeed in getting the ball at the back of the goal.

A very unfortunate goal was conceded against Halifax towards the end Of the second half of the match. Halifax played their best game and didn't deserve to lose. An excellent game played against Brigg as last time they played, Brigg dominated them within the first 20 minutes of the game and halifax lost 4-1.

In this match they had improved marginally and was letting them do the same. Halifax fought hard right until the whistle went at the end of the match. Halifax are due to win soon as they are improving their game and getting strong. They deserve a win.
