Halifax II 1-1 Leeds Adel II
After a 6-1 loss away versus Leeds Adel 3 weeks ago Halifax knew they were in for a tough game against the league leaders.
However, Halifax's home advantage continued to help them this weekend.
The first half was end to end hockey, with the home side coming close on a few occasions through Michaela Midgley, Rebecca Brown and Katie Shannon. The defence held strong preventing Leeds Adel having many chances on goal.
Halifax continued to press in the second half. Claire Waldron, Ruth Prosser and Midgley working tirelessly in midfield.
Prosser managed to dart past 3 players and cross a cracking ball into to 'D' for Brown to deflect into the goal.
10 minutes later Leeds Adel managed to sneak a goal back to level up the scores.
After such a bad loss 3 weeks ago, Halifax were very pleased with a point and have now gone all season so far without losing a game at home in the league.
