Ladies 2s lose to top of the league

Leeds Adel II 6-1 Halifax II

Playing their second game of the weekend, Halifax Ladies 2nd team went into the game on the back of a dominate 6-0 win the previous day.

Halifax travelled to Leeds to play top of the table Leeds Adel. With a few key players missing, Halifax knew they were in for a tough game.

Leeds scored two early goals but a spectacular goal from Adele Muff brought the away side back into the game.

However, Leeds were too strong and it wasn't long before they got another goal.

Defenders Cat Vose, Jess Stott, Ruth Bury and Claire Waldron all battled to keep the home side at bay but injury to two players allowed the home side to dominate in the second half, getting another 3 goals.
