Halifax struck early in their first of two games last weekend.
Harriet Wood got the away sides first goal after 5 minutes.
Halifax had several opportunities created by Michaela Midgley, Rachel Hoyle, Katie Shannon and Adele Muff but it was the home side who struck next with a quick counter attack.
A penalty flick was then awarded to the home side which saw them go into the break 2-1 up.
Halifax fought hard in the second half to break through the Tadcaster defence. Tadcaster went down to 10 players due to injury which helped Halifax get on top.
Midgley finished a well worked goal to bring the the away side level and Muff got Halifax's third to ensure the away side gained 3 points.
