Men's 2s continue to improve despite defeat
The M2 suffered another defeat to Brigg 2s, losing 4--2, but were encouraged by the continued improvement

Halifax 2s made another improvement this week and while they didn’t manage to grab the win they did put in a fine performance against top of the table Brigg.
Halifax’s squad was once again a mix of young and older heads and the team is blending well and there should be a win around the corner.
A goal from Archie King had given Halifax the lead in the first half, only to be pegged back by Brigg before the end of the 35 minute half.
In the second half Brigg and Halifax played out a great half that unfortunately, for Halifax, they lost the second half 3-1 and overall lost 4-2 in the game.
Halifax took the lead with Joe Costello scoring from an extremely tight angle! Brigg played some good stuff and managed to net three times.
The scoreline didn’t do the game justice as it was a great game and both sides could have come out on top. For Halifax, everyone played well and had a fine game. They will now turn their attention to Airedale this weekend at home where they will look to get their first win of the season!
