Solid draw for Ladies 1s against top of league

Halifax ladies 1s took on top of the league Ben Rhydding away.

Halifax got off to a slow start conceding early on; halifax seemed to push too high and were caught off guard on the break.

Despite pushing hard Halifax conceded a second and a third goal, giving balls away too easily and lacking possession on the pitch.

3-1 down at half time Halifax fought hard. Kate Walsh missed a penalty flick in the second half but soon made up for this by scoring two further goals, helped by Jenny Brennan who made an excellent run down the right wing.

Goalkeeper Cassie Barker made several fantastic saves and kept halifax in the game!

Final score 3-3; a great result against a strong away team.
