Captain Matthew Graham opened the scoring with an amazing bullit shot with the minimum of backlift which flew into the bottom corner of the net giving the Rotherham keeper no chance.
The second goal followed quickly from a penalty corner with Graham feeding Jake Bamforth who slipped the ball to Josh Sutcliffe who finished from close range.
Keeper Matthew Metcafe then made a couple of good saves to ensure the team went into half time in confident mode.
Rotherham then scored a soft goal with some poor Halifax play which was their only blip on a good performance. Normal service was resumed when Graham received a pass from Gabe Coleman and Tom Love crashed the ball home.
With centre back Henry Shelton unavailable, Simon Arch came in a did a great job to keep the Rotherham attack ineffective with Leigh walker, Josh Foreman and Richard Marshall also very solid.
Matthew Bairstow got the teams 4th goal quickly followed up by a second for Sutcliffe who showed good awareness by getting the keeper to go down before going round him to score.
The scoring was completed after a fine move with Graham's sublime pass finding Bairstow who used his speed and skill to race around the Rotherham stopper and smash the ball in from a tight angle.
A fine finish to a fine performance.
