For the 1st 10 minutes of the game it looked anything but an easy game with Sheffield dominating possession but as soon as the Halifax lads got into their stride, it was clearly a matter of how many goals they were going to score.
It would have been double figures but the Sheffield keeper made several great saves to deny Tom Love, Michael Jones, Matthew Bairstow and Damien Reynolds.
The scoring started with Matthew Graham cooley slotting home from a narrow angle before Jake Bamforth started adding to his impressive tally this year.
He finished with 4, Graham scored another and made some good assists.
Josh Barron capped an impressive display with his 1st goal of the season, Josh Sutcliffe also got on the score sheet, with the 9th goal an own goal.
Henry Shelton, Dave Wheatley, Josh Foreman and Peter Bamforth were rarely troubled in defence and keeper Matthew Metcalfe was pleased with a clean sheet.
A great result against a team struggling near the bottom of the table that sets the team up for tougher fixtures over the coming weeks.
