Bradford who will be playing a league higher than Halifax in the Yorkshire Premier league this season started strongly with Halifax trying out a new formation.
However, it was a sloppy goal that allowed Bradford the opening goal.
Halifax started to get into the pace of the game and Matthew Bairstow scored the equaliser slapping the ball home after a goalmouth scramble.
The game was pretty end to end with both teams showing some pre season rustiness - chances came and went with Josh Foreman and Richard Marshall playing well for Halifax in defence and Damien Reynolds showing good composure in midfield.
It was star striker Matthew Graham who stole the show again with 4 well taken goals although the team will need to tighten up in both midfield and defensive areas as Bradford were allowed too much space.
This allowed them to create a number of chances and score 3 more goals to make the game more uncomfortable than it should have been.
Gabriel Coleman put in a good performance on his debut and overall the team have a lot to look forward too this season if they can improve their pass selection.
