As proposed and agreed at the AGM in September, please find below and attached details of this season’s annual club membership fees.
The fee this season will be £110 and £75 for concessions – Retired, Unemployed & U18s playing senior hockey but not in the Junior Academy.
Members can pay in full by the end of November, or if notifying the treasurer, in two instalments. The first by end of November 2021, the second by end of February 2022.
This is still one of the cheapest fees in Yorkshire and we will again retain the separate "pay-as-you-play" model for match fees. The single amount model was viewed as less flexible for members and not balanced when a number of our teams play less games than others.
Juniors in the Junior Academy that are playing senior hockey will continue to only pay the junior academy fees. They will pay a match fee whenever they play in a senior hockey match.
Key points from the AGM:
We were asked to provide a breakdown of what the annual subscriptions and match fees contribute towards. A short summary of the key items are below.
Annual Subscriptions:
Required for you to be a member of the club - which means you accept the various policies and procedures operated by the club and are covered by our insurance. They cover the majority of our fixed costs; cost of training (Annual Access charge and coaches), affiliation fees (EH & League), club insurance, equipment purchases and administrative costs.
Match Fees:
Cover variable expenses arising from matches; including pitch hire outside of our standard allocation, bar staff, post match refreshments, any competition entry fees and umpiring/officiating expenses.
Any questions or if you wish to pay your Annual Fees in instalments please contact the treasurer, Pete via treasurer@halifaxhockeyclub.co.uk
Thanks
