Halifax continued their impressive unbeaten 2014 with a convincing “battering” of Ben Rhyding. The game was important to Halifax who had been unfairly robbed earlier in the year by players from higher teams representing their opponents.

A youthful Ben Rhyding were no match for the guile and experience of Halifax.

The only disappointment was the Ben Ryding Goal and Tony Sykes made a cameo appearance as a kicking back with 5 minutes to play. Controversy around Mike Dronsfield’s stolen goal led to him getting DOD and MOM was shared between Jack Willis and Mike Brennan.
