Leeds Leondis turned up with only 9 players which made it a fairly easy afternoon for the mens 3rd X1.
Leondis left one man upfront and tried to fill midfield but the Halifax lads had too much possession from them to be denied.
Jack Willis scored the 1st with a fine strikefrom a penalty corner. This was quickly followed by a well taken goal from Michael Broadbent. Sean FitzPatrick got the 3rd near the end of the 1st half with a solid strike from 14 yards out after a good move involving Paul Graham and Simon Meredith.
The second half saw Leondis gettting forward to more purpose and it took 2 goal line clearances from Graham to keep the score blank.
After a poor 10 minutes Halifax got back on task with Bailey Blagbrough getting a 4th and Tim Jones a 5th after a lovely move involving Graham, Paul Mayes and Broadbent.
The team can be happy with another 3 points but will need to improve on their ball retention if they are to compete with the better teams in the league.
