Driffield 2nds 1- Halifax 2nds 3

The long trip to Driffield didn’t start well with keeper Steve Sparkes sleeping in and having to be collected on the way.
Halifax scored within 5 minutes Jonny Sutcliffe slotting home from close range. The game was under control until half time Driffield not having a shot on goal as Halifax dominated. Jon Horseley again failed to find the net from a number of good chances.

Second half Elliot Bullick scored tapping in from above his shoulder following a looping deflection from a Dave Willis effort. Elliot scored again following a weaving run to make the game safe with a great shot to the corner. Driffield scored in the closing seconds for a consolation goal. Halifax remain 2nd in the table and maintained their unbeaten start.
