Men's 2s win after slow start

Halifax started slowly and conceded an early goal against the run of play.

Andy Marsland then scored from a short corner with a well taken drag flick to get 1 back.

Centre forward Jon Horsley got back in scoring mode after couple of weeks without a goal to send Halifax 2-1 up.

The game was a family affair with Dave and Sam Spencer and Jon, Josh & Connor Sutcliffe all playing for halifax.

The win was secured from another short corner, as Andy Marsland capped a fine performance with a deft pass neatly finished by Kris Mayland.
