Ladies 1s battle back to earn draw

On Saturday October 10th Halifax Ladies 1s hosted Sheffield Bankers and honours were even in a closely fought 1-1draw
Halifax got off to a strong start and Emma Cavalier and Danielle Oneill posed real risk down the left hand side.
Halifax were awarded a short corner early on but failed to convert.
Laura Neimantas and Jenny Brennan held tight at centre back.
0-0 half time score.
Bankers came out strong and broke early to score the first goal.
Halifax fought back; Ruth Prosser worked hard in midfield linking well with Emma Bedford who drove the right wing, and crossed the ball for a deflection off Emma Crawford finished by Rebecca Brown.
Both teams were equally matched and the final score 1-1.
