Ladies 1s hosted Ben Rhydding at home on Saturday-first match back since Christmas.
It was windy!!!
Halifax were 3rd going into the game and Ben Rhydding are currently top of the league.
Halifax came out strong, great ball pace and momentum scoring their first goal early on; Danielle Oneill drove the back line strong and crossed the ball to Dani Parker who finished neatly. Ben Rhydding came back fighting; 1-1 at half time.
Lauren Wright played some exceptional balls down the right wing. Helen Boughton and Jenny Brennan stayed strong in defence but were unfortunately caught on the break by Ben Rhydding who scored two consecutive goals with only 20 minutes to go.
Halifax managed to pick themselves up, and Emma Fradgley crossed a lovely ball into the D picked up by Rachel Hoyle who scored an open side deflection and shortly after a straight strike from the top of the D.
Final score 3-3. MOM Rachel Hoyle.
