On Saturday October 18th Ladies 1s travelled away to Boston Spa.
Halifax got off to a slow start and the Halifax Ladies struggled to keep possession.
Boston Spa were quicker to the ball and more physical in their tackles, but despite this in a break of play Kate Walsh scored Halifax's first goal. Boston however, were quick to return; despite Emma Fradgley saving a goal on the line, the half time score was 2-1 to Boston.
Halifax came out fighting in the second half, following a weaker first half halifax held possession throughout the second half and really were all over the Boston Ladies.
Emma Crawford scored Halifax's second goal from a short corner strike and although Boston Spa came back 3-2, Danielle Oneill matched with a strong strike through break of play to equalise.
Halifax remained solid at the back throughout the second half and Jenny Brennan remained calm on a one on one against Boston's striker.
Halifax continued to dominate and played much of the second half in the Boston half. Unable to score the final whistle blew at 3-3.
