Halifax took the lead twice with Annie Denton & Cara Casson both scoring, however Hull caught Halifax out quickly on both occassions after Halifax had just gone ahead.

Game was evenly matched with strong performances from Grace Alen,Emily Walker & Denton in midfiled supported by Leah Kalter, Emma Whitaker and Annabel Meredith in Defence who closed down all the opposition short corners.

GAME 2 : Halifax 1 Thirsk 0:

Playing straight after the Hull game Halifax kept up a superb overall team performance with Tomlinson scoring but missing a good chance to put Halifax further ahead.

Strong running from Niamh Brennan in the opposition half set up a number of attacks but Thirsk defended well.

Thirsk increased their tempo and had a number of chance go wide and a shot from just inside the D was superbly saved by Anna Nevison

GAME 3 : Halifax 0 Huddersfield 0

Another fine team performace saw open end to end hockey but both sides defended well. Excellent awareness from Allen allowed her to pick the ball up in defence and distribute to Hannah Stott & Brennan to push forward, with Felecity Raud tracking back well to make opposition attacks difficult.

The team came 2nd in the league of 3 so just missed out on promotion to division 2 for the next tournament.
