We took two U12 girls teams to Huddersfield to give our girls some friendly match practice as some of the newer players have never experienced a competitive game.

It was a successful event against two much more experienced and strong Huddersfield teams.

The Halifax girls were split into 2 even teams and each of the 4 teams played each other.

The 1st games resulted in 1-1 draws with Lucy Hampshire and Hannah Veal the scorers.

The 2nd games were both 3-0 defeats although the games were closer than the result reflect.

The 3rd game was the 2 Halifax teams battling it out. It was very even with both keepers playing well but Connie Wood ghosted in on the far post to slot home the only goal of the game.

The Halifax coaches were very pleased to see the girls enjoying playing this great game and the girls improved considerable over the 3 games. Plenty of successes and plenty to work on in training
